I made the mistake and opened my door when an Edge Pest sales guy knocked on my door. He seemed honest, but he did nothing more than lie to me to get a sale. He told me I could cancel at anytime, which was a blatant lie. You don't have time to read anything on their little screen. When you call, you get nothing but a run around. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. NOT TO MENTION, ALL THEY EVER WANT TO DO IS UPSELL YOU ON EVERYTHING AND CRAZY PRICES.

Edge Pest control company is a Scam

Edge Pest control offers unlimited free reservice if the homeowner notices issues with pests. Edge has been servicing my house since July 2018 and in 3 years of service, which comes to around $2000, they failed to fix the basic issues with insects and rodents.

When I called them for reservice, the reservice was futile. All the attempts to work with the service provider to fix the problem has failed. Last time Edge serviced my house was on Sep 23 2021 and their service agent did not treated the inside of the house at all. They did not properly took care of outside of the house and told me that the December service is the most important and that I should continue their services.

It sounded fishy, but I thought they at least would be professional in providing the service.

Later I checked the video recordings on my motion sensor cameras and there was no activity around the house captured on those, which signals that the agent did not serviced the house at all and charged me for a fake service. Yesterday I discovered traces of mice infestation around and inside the house and when I called them to fix the issue by providing a reservice, they told me that they will charge me for the reservice and they cannot treat the issues which were not addressed in the last service.

Very unhappy with this company: After a year of service, I attempted to cancel their service, in July, by emailing them a cancelation. They received it but called to try to talk to me about the cancellation, which I declined to do--I really didn't want to hear another sales pitch.

On October 12, they sent a pest control technician to my house to spray for bugs anyway.

I stopped him before he sprayed, told him I had cancelled, and he called the office on the spot. I talked to someone in the office and cancelled the service, the technician told me it was done, and went away. On October 23, another technician showed up when I was not at home and sprayed anyway. Edge then debited my bank account, which was how I found out that they had performed the service.

I immediately protested and was told that their "protocol" required that I talk to a customer specialist in order to validly cancel. Apparently I didn't talk to the right person at the company on the 12th. How was I to know that I hadn't talked to the right person at the company on the 12th? In subsequent calls they acknowledged receiving the cancellation on the 12thbecause they apparently taped it.

I also regret giving them my bank account info.

The salesman (door-to-door) sold me the service first and then, at the end, said it was company policy to debit accounts. I gave him the info just to get him out of my hair.

Moral of the story: 1. Do not trust their "evergreen" contracts--they are too difficult to get rid of. 2.

Don't give them your bank account info.

3. Find a local provider for this type of service that you can trust.

when I tried cancelling edge they said that they would charge me $200 and their service was poor most of the people that came out didn't know what they were doing and what they did was not worth the the money they charge you and now they are changing the name and I bet it is because the service was vary poor so I do not recommend edge to anyone for any of their service

I have Edge pets control service for 2 years. The last months they did not do a good service leaving the job incomplete. They have been unresponsive to serve despite several calls and now the home is infested of rats. No recommended for service in North Dallas, Frisco, Prosper or McKinney.

Through a PRE-PAID agreement, I signed up for a 1-year contract. The sales person tried to talk me into automatic payments from my account, for which I refused pending evaluation of their services. At the end of the 1-year period, I contacted them stating I would not continue to use their services because they are ineffective. I was told I had three applications left to use. As it turns out, they were actually additional services and costs. More over, they initiated automatic deductions after the 1st additional app. Total failure by the Edge team

Repeatedly failed to address rat problem. Insisted on charging $120 for a non-requested "standard" service after doing nothing to address rodent request. Said rodent request was placed well in advance of "standard" service, leaving me as a thoroughly dissatisfied customer. originally service was great I live in Kanab Utah but suddenly after 2or more years of great service ,when they came the bugs were still in place after supposedly killing them. They would schedule and then change it at the last minute and would not work with me claiming i had rearranged the time, which i had not . the last 2 services, I had more bugs than when they began they have gone downhill do not use!!!get aget

I had Nathan come to my house after I told him I cancel my service and appointment for that day. He tells me that there will be no charge today and the service will be on Edge. The very next day, I check my bank statement, and they charged my account. I was lied to several times, and they don't even care. I continue to get harass about the charge through text, emails, and now mail.

This is a horrible company. Do not waste your time with them.

First an foremost they will not let you out of the contract even when they are in the wrong over and over again. Second, no one knows what the other is doing and they do not follow what is written in your service request. The service manager will tell their employees to do whatever it takes to get that money. I had it written in my request that they were to only perform when I am home and they have cleared it with me through app however they still show up whenever they want and charge you for the service.

They will charge any card they have on file for you whatever they feel like charging it . I COULD GO ON AND ON.

I felt they used scare tactics to manipulate me to contract with them. I was told I had several hornets nest in the eves of my roof. When another service person came out and sprayed two hours later she told everything looked great and there were no hornets nests. I asked for my contract to be canceled and she told me she had done it Now five weeks later they are telling me it wasnt canceled and they are trying to make me pay them for more treatments. You cant trust what they are telling you. I gave 1 star because there wasnt a 0 option.

So I assume like most companies flea spray is part of it but no thats extra. Part is my error because I assumed they were like the other 3 carriers Id had. K no its extra so no only did I pay 100.00 a month I had to pay 200.00 for flea meds. Horrible company, every thing is extra no really sure what I paid for but mice. Oh and to top it off the guy who was going to spray for mosquitoes, which I dont have actually told me I would go to collections? Seriously a tech person so obviously this isnt his first rodeo. Dont use this service a total joke, probably use water and make you believe they are helping you. Youre stupid if you do.
